I was listening to a business podcast the other day titled, “The ONE thing that successful people don’t say that could be screwing you up.”
You want to know what it is?
I already know this.
Or
I’ve heard this already.
And there is so much truth in that statement. Do you think?
How often do we brush something off and feel like we don’t have to listen because we ‘know it already’?
- Eat mostly plants
- Be active every day
- Eat Just enough – but not too much
- Get enough sleep
- Limit foods that are commercially made
Are you doing it now?
Are you thinking to yourself that you already know this stuff – Yet, you’re still struggling with your health?
But just because we know something doesn’t mean that we’re DOING it – and success doesn’t come with information, but rather applying the information to our situation.
Until we’re successful with a specific goal, we need to hear it over an over and over again.
There have been so many times that I’ve heard the same information repeated, when suddenly, it will occur to me, ‘Oh! THAT’S what that means!’ Or have an idea – ‘THAT’S how I can apply that information!’
And those Eureka moments don’t happen until we allow ourselves to be open to hearing the information again and again. Because once we even THINK the words ‘I know this already!’ We’ve closed ourselves off from learning anything new.
The only way that we can live, is if we grow.
The only way that we can grow is if we change.
The only way we can change is if we learn.
The only way we can learn is if we are exposed.
And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open.
Do it.
Throw yourself.
If we’re closed off from receiving the information that we need, then we’re never going to learn, and therefore we’re never going to grow – to grow out of this phase of life that we’re in. And if we’re not growing, we’re not thriving, which means that we’re not living our life to it’s fullest potential.
Most of my clients come to me already knowing what they need to be doing – or rather – understanding what it takes to accomplish their goals.
But they find their success when it becomes more than understanding – when it becomes a deep knowledge that they feel in their bones. When we put into action those things that we already understand – but then finally ‘get it’ when we do it.
I love it when my clients come back to me & say, ‘Oh! Now I get it! I thought I knew it before, but now I really do.’
It’s inspiring.
I help them grow and thrive.
Because it’s not just about weight loss or fitting in to those jeans.
The weight loss, and other physical symptoms are a by-product. The real goal is the growth and happiness that happens with my clients when they become open to knowing what they already understand.
Have you had that experience where you finally ‘get it’? Where you’ve heard something repeatedly, but finally understand what the heck they’re saying?
