Mission

It’s my calling to clear up all of the confusion & untruths that folks have been told when it comes to fitness and health. Examples include that you need to eat 1200 calories to lose weight (or worse, maintain your weight loss); that women will get bulky if they lift weights that aren’t rubber coated; that if you eat carbs, you’re a bad person.

Moderation, mental and emotional work is not sexy, but it’s what will produce lasting results: because it’s doable. Restricting everything that is tasty in this world and brings you joy, is not sustainable.  It is my goal to teach every woman I meet how to spot BS when she sees it in a magazine, and create healthier habits without disrupting her and her family’s lifestyle. If you stick with me, I will support you throughout the entire process.

Philosophy

Since there’s no such thing as a perfect diet or exercise routine, I encourage you to make only those changes that fit into your’s and your family’s routine. It’s not about overhauling your life and taking drastic measures; it’s about making tiny, impactful habits that make a big difference.

I help women build simple, sustainable, easy to incorporate health-based habits into their life. I am a coach to my clients through education (why you’re doing something) as well as simple principles (how to do it) that really create results.  Results that if you maintain these simple habits, you will never have to worry about your health again.

When it comes down to it, we take care of ourselves not so that we can live longer, but rather that we can have a better quality of life. It’s a collaborative approach – because you’re the expert on your body. No one else is. Together, we learn what works for you by experimenting with different techniques; reflecting on how we think about our body, the food we eat, and how we move;  and we do it with compassion.

When you know better, and you have the right tools available to you, you do better.
